Dr Elena Kalotychou (Associate Professor) is the Dean of the School of Management and Economics at the Cyprus University of Technology. Prior to joining CUT in 2017, she was an Assistant Professor and Director of MSc Investment Management at Bayes Business School, City St Georges University of London (2008 – 2017). Dr Kalotychou graduated from Cambridge University with a BSc and MA degree in Mathematical Tripos. She got an MSc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Finance from Bayes Business School. Dr Kalotychou’s research interests are on empirical asset pricing, corporate governance and risk management. She has published articles in the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Financial Stability and Journal of Financial Services Research among others.
