Xiaohua (David) Fang, Ph.D., CFA is an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business in Boca Raton, Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Finance from McGill University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Dr. Fang’s research focuses on how information disclosure, corporate governance, social norms, auditing, and debt contracting influence capital markets and stock return behavior. His work has been published in leading academic journals, covering topics such as stock price crash risk, financial reporting transparency, and the effects of social networks and regulation on market outcomes.
