Sumair Hussain

    Sumair Hussain is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of Accounting at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on corporate disclosure and financial reporting, with a particular interest in how accounting standards and regulation shape the way firms communicate information. His work examines not only what firms disclose, but also where they disclose it and how that information is presented. More broadly, his research seeks to understand how changes in accounting and reporting requirements influence firms’ disclosure choices across different communication channels and formats, and the implications of those choices for users of financial information.
