Mark Clatworthy is Professor of Accounting at the University of Bristol Business School. He earned his PhD in Accounting from Cardiff University. His research interests are mainly in the use and usefulness of accounting information by capital market participants. He is a member of the UK Endorsement Board’s Academic Advisory Group, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Research Advisory Board and the EFRAG Academic Panel.
Mark’s research has been published in various academic journals including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Accounting and Business Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and Accounting in Europe.
Mark is currently joint editor of Accounting and Business Research. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in advanced financial reporting and financial statement analysis.
