Haoyu Gao is a Wu Yuzhang Distinguished Professor at Renmin University of China. He serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Money and Finance at the School of Finance, and as the Deputy Director of the China Banking Research Center. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and was selected for the 5th China Association for Science and Technology “Young Talents Support Program.” His research interests primarily focus on banking and financial intermediation, financial risk management, sustainable finance, and China’s capital markets. He has been invited to serve as an associate editor for several authoritative domestic and international journals, including Management Science, Corporate Governance: An International Review, International Journal of Finance, and Journal of Systems Science and Mathematical Sciences.
