Giorgo Sertsios is the Sheldon B. Lubar Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and Finance Area Chair. His research lies at the intersection of corporate finance, political economy, and industrial organization, with a particular focus on how regulation, institutions, and ownership structures shape firm behavior. His work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Management Science. He is also an Associate Editor at Financial Management and an active participant in major international finance conferences.
