Fabrizio Ferri

    Fabrizio Ferri joined the Miami Herbert Business School’s faculty in 2018 after working at Harvard Business School, New York University and Columbia University. Professor Ferri’s research interests focus primarily on corporate governance issues, with particular emphasis on shareholder activism, boards of directors, executive compensation and ESG. His research has been presented at numerous international and national conferences and has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, The Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Management Science, Review of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Journal of Corporate Finance. He is currently an editor for The Accounting Review and an associate editor for Management Science and was an editor at The Contemporary Accounting Research in 2017-2023. He received an Outstanding Reviewer Award from The Accounting Review, an Excelling in Refereeing Award from the Journal of Accounting Research (four times) and was included by Poets & Quants among the Favorite MBA Professors of the Class of 2020. He is a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
